This client is a staffing agency who leverages the Bullhorn CRM for their staffing contacts and the various jobs they need to fill. The current system did not have a native connection between contacts and jobs, nor did Bullhorn have marketing email capabilities.

At this point, the client needed:
  • The ability to associate jobs with staffing contacts based on the contact’s profile
  • The ability to automatically send out emails to staffing contacts with open jobs matching their profile

The client chose HubSpot and a partnership with ManoByte to accomplish their goals. Through HubSpot Marketing Hub Enterprise, they had access to custom objects and email automation to set up a workflow to send weekly emails to staffing contacts with matching jobs. With ManoByte, they gained access to a team of HubSpot and development experts to help them strategize and implement their solution.

Desired State

 

HubSpot and Bullhorn do not have a prebuilt integration like you would find for Salesforce, Zoho, or G Suite. So to connect these two platforms, ManoByte leveraged a middleware solution, Tray.io, to build a custom integration for HubSpot and Bullhorn to exchange information. The integration accomplishes 3 main goals:

  1. Import contacts from Bullhorn to HubSpot.

  2. Create a back sync for contact unsubscribe information to be sent to Bullhorn.

  3. Import Jobs as a custom object and associate with appropriate contacts.


From there, ManoByte built an email template and workflows to send weekly emails to contacts with the associated job openings.


The project took 12 weeks to complete and included:
